| Frequently Asked Questions Here on our site, issues may arise and we like to take a preemptive strike against such things. We have listed and will continue to list some of the most popular questions/concerns that arise on the site. We do hope for one day to have as complete of a guide as we can to the site, and to answer as many questions as possible without delay. As such, we also encourage staff to post questions posed of them, as well as there responses, for all to see. Which makes such things clear and understandable. Questions and AnswersIf I am knocked unconscious, are my clones still in play, and any ongoing effects?- Spoiler:
Answer: If/when a ninja is knocked out, all active techniques end, including any deployment of clones, summons or specific related things. Fission are not knocked out, and active techniques placed on opponents are not ended. (Things like poisons, constricting jutsu's/binding jutsu's, genjutsu etc etc). In general ninja are knocked out anywhere from 3 to 5 posts, depending on severity. At times, it can be up to 7 or 8 depending on what has been done. I have received bonuses to my chakra resources, do these effects stack?- Spoiler:
The bonuses ninja receive to there chakra resources stack as long as they are from different sources. A mastered + in Taijutsu and Genjutsu receives 100 Chakra Resources from being a master +, these stack. However, things from the same type do not stack, but can increase. Such as the bonuses received from Incomplete Sage mode, to complete sage mode, they don't stack (meaning you don't get both) but rather just one. The only exception to this is skill points, ninja can spend skill points to increase chakra resources, and for each one spent, they can get the stackable increase. Finally, staff are going to monitor how Yin Seal's and such operate, we don't want ninja to dump literally 1,000's of chakra resource points into it, just because, and will most likely cap it at some point should it become an issue. Do you allow game techniques, or other techniques from movies, games etc etc?- Spoiler:
Yes we do, however we regulate them a little more conservatively. But we can/will allow them depending on what they do. In general we have the member write them up, and go from there. This (insert w/e here) is banned, when will it be unbanned, and I have a great idea on it?- Spoiler:
We welcome all discussion on our banned list, however we simply won't be unbanning them based on popular opinion and such. The reason they are banned is because they are so hard to nail down and discussed. Or so heavily restricted there is no point. We want to give members a fair shake, and not have someone spamming Bijuu Balls down on a village using flying thunder god to just "make them appear". There is something I want, either a bijuu, special thing, or what have you, can I have it?- Spoiler:
No lol, sorry. We try and release something every month or two, but we don't want a mad grab on a "who comes first" style option. Because it leaves people who come 3/4/5 months down the road with nothing to offer. So we release things slowly, over time, starting with IOOC and IC events. If you want that specific items, go join the plot to get it. Some one is inactive, and I want to claim there (blank)?- Spoiler:
Sorry, that's not how it works. Unless its a specific case by case thing, if someone goes inactive, we pm them, give them a little time before we take there property. Then if they fail to be active, or continually are inactive, we remove said (blank) and place it back in a pool for the next mini plot adventure. Just calling someone out on being inactive doesn't mean Samehada or Edo Tensai is up for grabs. Vague Manipulation in posts, and hidden attacks, how do they work?- Spoiler:
There could be topic's and pages about this subject. However, we will do our best to put little blurbs around the site to help get a clear picture. In general, hidden/extremely flowery attacks will simply be ignored and the chakra they cost lost to the character. What this means is, say you describe a wind blowing across the land, flowers swaying in its breeze. Then say "hit call" I got you in my wind release: flower tornado... that type of stuff isn't allowed. Now vague manipulation, we do not allow positional and personal vague manipulation. While, this can be hard, we don't allow members to give exact/definite/outcomes to other characters. Like, someone says they are at the gates, another member can not come in and say they are exactly 15 meters from the gate, or there are 2 sets of gates and the member is inside the first set. Nor do we allow members to say things like, "He grabbed his sword" well, he didn't state which end, so its obviously the sharp end and he cuts his hand. Or "He never listed every single little thing he wanted into the topic with, so he is naked with nothing". At the end of the day, its up to staff to decide how vague something is. How does weaponry work with taijutsu and vice versa?- Spoiler:
I knew this topic would come up. Where is the line between weaponry and taijutsu? This is a touchy/hard subject for anyone, let alone the creator of the systems figure out. In general, weaponry refers to the act of using and utilizing a weapon, while taijutsu is focused on punching/kicking. In a deadlock draw, staff assumes with its more dangerous weapon, larger range and ability to react lightning fast, that a weapon master would come out on top, this needn't always be the case, don't quote us on it yet. Concerning items, if someone wears a pair of boots or gloves are those weapons, no they are not. If those gloves/boots have special abilities then we consider them to be weapons when using said abilities (even if in combination with taijutsu moves, such as a glove that absorbs chakra on contact). What if the gloves have spiked knuckles, well using spiked knuckles would be considered a weapon. Basically, if something enhances though an item/object your physical attacks, we'd consider that a weapon and using it would fall under weaponry moves. Now, of course a necklace that increases your punches (however illogical that is) wouldn't be a weapon. But brass knuckles, a knife in the boot, long metal nail things, talons, claws, would be weaponry. What happens if I use a move, the uses up all my chakra?- Spoiler:
If you don't have enough chakra to use a move, and you still use it. Either you or a clone or summon etc etc the move is lost, and at 0 chakra you are knocked out. Clones disperse and summons de-summon. By the move being lost, is it is failed to be completed and that chakra is lost So how much chakra can I have?- Spoiler:
Right now, if you had everything stacked. Two Masters+, a bijuu and w/e else you loaded up on, we'd cap you at 1,200. 1,200 is around when our high level tailed beasts start (5th) etc etc so that's our soft cap for right now. Can I have something that reduces word cost for chakra training?- Spoiler:
No, nothing reduces the cost for increasing your chakra resources How much chakra resources can I logically/legally store?- Spoiler:
Through the use of say Yin Seal, etc etc, a ninja can logically store upwards of 320 chakra resources in temporary chakra resources. Trying to get more results in a fatigued condition anything above 350 causes dizziness and above 375 knocks them out Someone did something in the manga/anime, can I do that too?- Spoiler:
The short answer, is it depends on what it is. Lifting Turtle Island, no. Generally speaking, we will review it, but for purposes of handling conflicts/topic's our answer is no you can't. We may say yes, but just assume the answer is no to avoid any messy situations I have something that reduces my hand signs, what does that mean?- Spoiler:
Say, you get just one hand seals, and then the ability to use something without any hand-signs, is it instantaneous? No, there is still a little lag in the technique, you can't ever cast it instantaneously and have it take effect immediately. Someone is in my area of effect, can I cause the technique to happen on/in them?- Spoiler:
Short answer no. Say your trying to be clever, and something has a short range, and your opponent is in that range. You can't create a jutsu inside of them, or "on them" just because they are inside that range. Like for example, a technique that causes a fireball to form anywhere within 15 meters, you can't make it from inside there body, or on them, it can be close to them, near them, but never "on them" or "in them". So, can I add more chakra to something to increase its rank/strength/range?- Spoiler:
No, that's the point of techniques, if you could add less/more chakra, what the point is there of ranks, one would just say how much chakra it costs and figure it out from there. Sorry our answer is no Where does the chakra come from my shadow clones?- Spoiler:
When creating a shadow clone, the chakra is already there, they just have a significant portion less than you do. You don't "give them chakra" so much as spend some chakra to create the clone with that much chakra. Can I use techniques/jutsu's to increase my specialties?- Spoiler:
No Can I stack techniques together to become faster/stronger/more reactive?- Spoiler:
You can, but they don't stack with each other, meaning you can't use the 5th gate, and a person technique to post you to "10th gate levels". Its one or the other, so stacking isn't possible, but increasing it. (Such as a move to give you 1st/2nd gate speed) Can I trade my Skill points to someone? How about Ninja Points?- Spoiler:
Skill points are never tradeable, however soon ninja points maybe become tradeable, given that we want members to understand there is no "giving" them away, but a structured repayment. (Especially considering people may pump/dump by going inactive/leaving the site, repayment will still occur) I think we should get more skill points, they are important- Spoiler:
Well, not really a question, but no sorry. Skill Points are powerful tools, and won't be given out every holiday/special event/just because. We give them out when we need too, one major holiday a year, and one large Contest a year, along with one IOOC Large event a year. That is all, otherwise, they lose there special meaning
