Name of the clan: Jotetsu
Bloodline name: Jiton – Magnet Release

Clan element/'s: Earth + Lightning = Magnet Release

Description: Most Jotetsu users are secretive by nature, not because they are nasty, or mean, but because it takes hours upon hours to train the user to manipulate there magnet release. These hours are often alone, unaided or bothered by the outside world. Their appearance varies from person to person, however if the live in the desert, most likely they wear some form of scarf or airy clothing to protect themselves from the desert heat.
Special characteristics/traits: There eyes when using magnet release form dark circles under them.
History: The Jotetsu Family was a wandering trade group that traversed the deserts of the Wind Country for hundreds of years. It was not until the founding member of the Jotetsu clan had sought ought Sunagakure for trade that the shinobi potential of the family had become known. After his return to the caravans, he sought to use his knowledge to protect his family.
The desert nights are cold and harsh, and thus the Jotetsu's bodies had adapted to it. However, nothing could keep the inevitable cold away for too long, and the desert nights were often too dark to see. Its wind made fire almost useless. Praying for an answer, the founder spent years trying to find a means of survival. Upon one fateful afternoon, while praying to the Sun god, the idea for sand and how to go about it had been delivered to him.
The founder and prophet of the Jotetsu clan merged his Doton and Raiton abilities forming magnets. It protected them through the dark of the night. It warmed the people without the risk of spreading or dying from the wind. It had answered the prayers of the Jotetsu.
Eventually when the new clan was rich enough, they had built a desert fortress unknowingly on the Wind Country border nearest to Rock. Greatly destroyed and crippled, the survivors sought out Sunagakure, and joined it in a pact, swearing their allegiance to the Sand. Since then, the Jotetsu clan's numbers have been declining as the old generation slowly perishes. It's up to the few young Jotetsu to further cement a place in Sunagakure and revitalize their once great clan.

Bloodline description: Magnet is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai which allows the user to convert chakra into magnetic forces and magnetise an object. Users can magnetise special shuriken. When the thrown shuriken comes into contact with any other object, it causes the struck target to become magnetised. One hit to the body will cause a magnetic field within the said body, making it an easy target for any further magnetised weapons to be drawn to it. However, each time the magnetism is transferred, it weakens. Ancient ninja studied the abilities of Shukaku and learned to imitate the power to control sand. However, when imitated sand techniques, they incorporated iron powder instead. They could use it to crush his opponents or even mould the sand into weapons. Another application could manipulate Gold Dust with his magnetic chakra, which is specifically used to counter Shukaku's sand, by taking advantage of gold's heavier weight to mix in with the sand and hamper its control.

Bloodline weaknesses: Fire techniques seem to hamper the magnet properties of the gold and iron sand, melting it into large ores, water techniques seem to weigh down the gold sand so much it becomes burdensome. When magnetizing objects or opponents, much like normal magnets, the further distance away from the host, the much weaker the field becomes. However, should a user magnetize an opponent, the best option would be to actually run away, as the magnetic field can be quite strong, and easy to be hit. When magnetized, things like barrel rolling, or basic dodging moves are no longer an effective tactic against a Jiton user. Distance is the best defense measure against it. Each time the magnetism is transferred, the distance is reduced greatly, meaning should one attempt to chain an attack, the distance becomes exponentially less.

Basic range for Kunai/Shuriken is about 7 meters

Additional Range beyond standard
C-Rank Magnetization is 3 meters - Vanishes after 2 turns
B-Rank Magnetization is 4 meters - Vanishes after 3 turns
A-Rank Magnetization is 5 meters - Vanishes after 4 turns
S-Rank Magnetization is 7 meters (Or double) - Vanishes after 5 turns

└Various Sand Methods┘It is said in Sunagakure, the users have incorporated it into sand. However, they just imitat sand techniques, incorporating iron powder instead. They can use it to crush there opponents or even mold the sand into weapons.
Special users can often manipulate Gold Dust with there magnetic chakra, which is specifically used to counter Suishou's sand, by taking advantage of gold's heavier weight to mix in with the sand and hamper its control.

└Magnetic Resonance┘Users of the clan, often times congregate together, like magnets being pulled to one another. When together, Jotetsu users resonate with each other, making the there abilities stronger and more robust. With two people, it increasing the strength of there magnetic arts by +1 rank. If more than two gather, it increases the range by +10 meters per member, as well as increasing the duration it lasts by +2 posts per member. However, after 2 Jotetsu in the area, there is no additional +1 rank per member, its a only singular only process.

【 Bloodline Weaknesses 】
└Weakness┘Fire techniques seem to hamper the magnet properties of the gold and iron sand, melting it into large ores, water techniques seem to weigh down the gold sand so much it becomes burdensome. When magnetizing objects or opponents, much like normal magnets, the further distance away from the host, the much weaker the field becomes. However, should a user magnetize an opponent, the best option would be to actually run away, as the magnetic field can be quite strong, and draw weapons to them. When magnetized, things like barrel rolling, or basic dodging moves are no longer an effective tactic against a Jiton user, even masters at taijutsu or weaponry are at a extreme disadvantage as speed/strength is no longer a factor in fighting a Jiton user. Distance is the best defense measure against it. Each time the magnetism is transferred, the distance is reduced greatly, meaning should one attempt to chain an attack, the distance becomes exponentially less.

【 Magnetization Ability 】
└Magnet Release: Magnetizing Spread ┘ Utilizing Magnet Release kekkei genkai to magnetize items, the user then throws/manipulates/attacks/stabs them in the direction of there opponent. Any individual that comes into direct contact with these attacks are themselves magnetized; as such, it is crucial that the opponent avoids all of them as even a single deflection will result in the production of a powerful magnetic field around their body. Once the person has been magnetized, the user can manipulate the magnetic field in such a manner as to make any subsequent attack using a metallic weapon nay impossible to evade.

Basic Ranges for standard items like, Shuriken, Kunai, Senbon, etc etc is 25 meters. It lasts for 2 posts before magnetized effects disappear

Ranges Beyond Standard (Additional Cost/Power/Range)
C-Rank Magnetization is an additional 15 meters - Vanishes after 3 turns
B-Rank Magnetization is an additional 20 meters - Vanishes after 4 turns
A-Rank Magnetization is an additional 25 meters - Vanishes after 5 turns
S-Rank Magnetization is an additional 35 meters - Vanishes after 6 turns

Each additional transfer of magnetized decreases by one rank. So A goes to B, B goes to C. However, magnetizing the body and other organic creatures lasts at strength for remainder of fight/removal of magnetic properties
